Assessment Plans

Greenville University allows for schools, departments and units to create their own assessment measures in ways they deem appropriate to their field. These self-reports are submitted to this page and feature a variety of forms and content showing how student learning is assessed, data collection tools and approaches, and timelines for implementation. It includes internal reports as well as plans and strategies for the future.

The Audio Engineering program is currently going through a thorough revision. A new program, Music Industry Studies, is being developed and will replace the current Audio Engineering program. After full development, the corresponding assessment documents will be published. 

The Commercial Music program is currently going through a thorough revision. A new program, Music Industry Studies, is being developed and will replace the current Commercial Music program. After full development, the corresponding assessment documents will be published. 

The Teacher Education Program at Greenville University has been accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education since 1975 and is fully accredited through the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC). Please refer to the Teacher Education Program assessment plan for further information regarding assessment processes. You can find the alignment between the Greenville University Student Learning Outcomes and the Teacher Education program outcomes as well as the alignment between the Teacher Education program outcomes and the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards in the Teacher Education program learning objectives alignment chart.

This program is currently going through a thorough revision. The learning objective alignment and curriculum map documents will be forthcoming within this academic year.

The Criminal Justice program is currently going through a thorough revision. This revision involves reconciling the online Criminal Justice Administration curriculum and the face-to-face Criminal Justice curriculum to produce a unified program with two delivery formats. Both delivery formats will employ the same program objectives, assessment methods, and data analysis plan. The assessment documents will be forthcoming within this academic year following full development of this program. 

The Social Work Program is currently seeking accreditation as a program through the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). We are currently entering year 3 of the accrediting process, and thus the Social Work Program has produced substantial assessment material to document the quality of their program. Please refer to their most recent report on student proficiency of the Social Work competencies. More documentation will be forthcoming within this academic year.
