Job Description:

Greenville College empowers students for lives of character and service through a transforming Christ-centered education in the liberal arts, sciences, and professional studies. Assist in sorting and distributing mail.  Provide additional mail and copying support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and distribute mail for entire campus.
  • Meter outgoing mail.
  • Get mail ready to be picked-up by Post Office.
  • Forward mail.
  • Coordinate and prepare packages for delivery through USPS, UPS and FedEx.
  • Assign mailboxes and keys.
  • Duplicate, sort, cut, bind & fold for college employee jobs.
  • Coordinate and handle bulk mailings for USPS distribution.
  • Receive packages from carriers and distribute to recipients.
  • Order, inventory and distribute toner cartridge for all copiers and printers on campus.
  • Work with College Bookstore each semester to distribute books to students after initial delivery.
  • Coordinate Mailroom workspace with College Bookstore at the end of each semester for student book returns.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor for Mail services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A vibrant commitment to Christ and the Christian ideals of Greenville College as well as an understanding and appreciation of Christian Higher Education
  • Willingness to live by the standards of the Greenville College Living and Learning Together Lifestyle Statement, available with the employment application at
  • Excellent customer relations
  • Basic computer abilities
  • Run various office machines (Copier, paper cutter, folding machine, postage meter, and Neotrak)
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly, and the self-motivation to do so
  • Ability to lift packages up to 35 pounds
