Coaching Minor at Greenville University

Students who earn a minor in coaching will be able to communicate with and motivate athletes while enhancing the athlete’s social and emotional growth. Greenville University’s coaching minor program integrates Christian values and emphasizes character on and off the field. Additionally, students will develop sound physical training programs, use sports skills effectively, inform athletes about the principles of good nutrition, reduce injuries by managing roles better, effectively deal with equipment, facilities, scheduling, and team logistics, and understand the administrative facets of coaching. A coaching minor fully prepares students for the coaching environment.
