CIS - Computer & Information Systems Major
The computer and information systems major will help prepare students to function as information professionals in a world that is being constantly transformed by technology. This preparation includes the cultivation of analytic and critical thinking skills as well as the ability to work and communicate with others on complex projects. Students will learn to integrate insights into God’s creation derived from computer science and information systems with their Christian understanding of the world and to present themselves as moral and responsible Christian professionals and servant leaders. The computer and information systems major emphasizes the theoretical foundations of information systems that will allow them, as life-long learners, to keep pace with rapidly changing technology over the course of their careers. Students also learn the technical skills necessary to begin as information professionals following graduation. Students who successfully complete the computer and information systems major can expect entry-level professional positions or admission to graduate school upon graduation.

Management Emphasis: CIS - Computer & Information Systems Major
To graduate with a Management emphasis you will need to take at least 17 credits in the Management Department.


Mathematics Emphasis: CIS - Computer & Information Systems Major
To graduate with a Math emphasis you will need to take at least 30 credits in the Math Department.


Digital Media Major
The digital media major prepares students to become content creators in a world that is constantly being shaped by technology. This preparation includes the cultivation of analytic and critical thinking skills as well as the ability to work and communicate with others on complex interdisciplinary projects integrating digital music, digital art, web-based technologies, and computer programming skills.

Audio Recording Track Emphasis: Digital Media Major
The Audio Recording track brings together music and technology as a popular course of study. Students have the opportunity to integrate audio into other digital technologies: video, web, etc.


Graphic Design Track Emphasis: Digital Media Major
The graphic design track prepares students for positions in graphic design and photography. Students, while having a solid art foundation, also gain a proficiency in the web-based technology applicable to their field. Careers available for those with an art emphasis include graphic design, web content creation, photography, and video engineering.


Information Systems Track Emphasis: Digital Media Major
The Digital Media information Systems track emphasizes the foundations of information systems that will allow students as life-long learners, to keep pace with rapidly changing technology over the course of their careers. Students also learn the technical skills necessary to begin as information professionals following graduation.


Internet Development Track Emphasis: Digital Media Major
The internet track provides students with a more in-depth knowledge of the ever evolving information highway. Their technical, art, and marketing skills will assist them in successfully entering the workforce.


Video & Film Track Emphasis: Digital Media Major
Video and Film are becoming more and more prevalent in our society. Technology has made this medium accessible to more and more people. This track exposes you to state-of-the-art techniques and methods for production and film theory and provides the student a chance to participate in the LA Film Studies program through the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.


CIS - Computer & Information Systems Minor
For a CIS minor you will be required to take at least 15 credits in the CIS Department.
Digital Media Minor
The Digital Media department will prepare you to become a content creator in a world that is constantly being shaped by technology. You’ll learn to integrate the Christian worldview with your creative technical capabilities and become a highly-skilled Christian professional. For a minor you should take at least 18 credits in the DM department.
