I grew up in Highland and attended both St.Paul Catholic School and Highland High School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and my Master’s degree in Education from Greenville College. I hold endorsements in high school chemistry and biology and middle school math and science, as well as, general administration.  Recently, I completed my Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership at SIUE.

After having taught math at St. Paul Catholic School in Highland, IL for three years, I joined the staff of Highland Middle School in 2008.  In addition to teaching seventh grade math, I enjoy coaching the math and scholar bowl teams at HMS. I also have the privilege of teaching the Illinois Math and Science Academy Fusion program after school to talented math and science students.  

I am an active member on the following school committees:  School Improvement Team, District RtI Team, and Math HUB. My professional memberships include the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
 
I live in Highland with my husband and our three children.  My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, golfing, and learning.
