Formerly (2007-2012) taught class piano, keyboards, clarinet, and accompanied the choir, orchestra, band, and both faculty and student recitals.

About Catherine Burge

Dr. Burge is an enthusiastic minister of music for area church, guest artist and soloist in many greater St. Louis area ensembles. She performs in summers as soloist for events of the Germany organization Stolpersteine Verlegung, and for Rome Festival Orchestra in Rome, Italy.Dr. Burge maintains a private music studio and performance business where pre-college students may elect to participate in the Illinois Achievement in Music Awards program or Southern Illinois Young Artist Soloist Organization. She serves as adjudicator for these organizations.  One of Dr. Burge's students performed at the Yamaha Young Artist Institute in New York City with Edna Golandsky. Students may audition for contests, to perform with the St. Louis Wind Symphony, St. Louis Bach Society, the Masterworks Youth Chorale of Belleville, or for future events with Rome Festival.
