About Norm Hall

My tenure at Greenville began in January of 1998.
Prior to coming to Greenville College I served in various capacities at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, University of California at Santa Barbara, Ashland University, and Azusa Pacific University.  Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to study at Greenville College (bachelors), Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (Masters in Educational administration), and at Pepperdine University for my Doctorate in Educational Administration.

I most enjoy my duties as husband and father.  My wife’s name is Alison, my daughter is Naomi Kelcey Hall, and my sons are Norman Jacob Hall  and Jonathan Thompson Hall
We have a dog (Schnoodle) named Lewis.

Dr. Norman D. Hall graduated from Greenville College in 1987 with a double major in Biology and Sociology. He went on to receive a Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and a Doctorate in Education from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

Dr. Hall has a passion for engaging students and maximizing students' collegiate experience. He has worked at Southern Illinois University, University of California Santa Barbara, Ashland University, and Azusa Pacific University.

Norm and his wife, Alison, have three children, Naomi, Jacob and Jonathan. Alison serves as Health/PE teacher, Head Volleyball and Track Coach at Bond County Community High School.

"My best day is when I see a student 'do' what they have been reading about or learning in the classroom. Often, on these occasions you can almost see a light turn on behind their eyes... and they are different for a lifetime."
