Accountants perform important and socially useful roles in society by compiling and verifying financial results for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. There is a large and growing demand for accountants, and accounting is listed among the fastest growing fields in the U.S.
Graduates who choose to pursue the CPA designation have an impressive pass rate. The CPA designation is optional for management accountants, but required for public accountants.
