Middle School Endorsement

Middle School Endorsement Overview

Middle School Endorsement - completely online

Three Continuing Education classes are offered in a convenient online format for educators seeking a middle school endorsement. These classes meet the current Illinois State Board of Education requirements for middle school endorsement which expire on January 31, 2018. Therefore after this January date, these courses are available for those who have filed and received an approved deficiency with ISBE.Courses are short in length, allowing practitioners time to balance their education and personal lives, without interrupting the school year.

  • CEDU 539 Adolescent Growth and Development (3 credits, 3 week course)
  • CEDU 556 Middle/Secondary School Curriculum and Instruction (3 credits, 3 week course)
  • EDUC 572 Middle School Math Methods (3 credits, 8 week, *only required for a middle school Math endorsement.)

D2L, Greenville University's online learning management system, will be utilized for communication purposes, discussion boards, and online interaction beginning the first scheduled day of class.
