Test Information

Greenville College allows several ways for students to show their English ability. Students may show us their English ability by taking the TOEFL, ACT, or SAT tests and sending their scores to Greenville College. If the student attends a Chinese school with a sister-school agreement, English ability may be shown by an interview and test at your home school. If a student has not completed one of these steps, they may be enrolled in English classes when they arrive at Greenville.

Personal Opinions
Please answer these questions using a minimum of 75 words for each question

1. Please tell us why you are interested in attending Greenville College and studying in the United States.

2. In the United States it is illegal to take many drugs without a doctor’s permission. It is also illegal to drink any alcoholic drink (beer, wine) under the age to 21. Finally, for health reasons, many restaurants, work places and schools do not allow smoking which is very different than most of China. To encourage a healthy campus, while you are a student at Greenville College you cannot smoke, drink or use illegal drugs regardless of your age. This may be very different than your rules at home. Would you please tell us how you feel about these rules and about living in a different culture?
