Greenville alumni maintain their ties to the College in many ways. They connect with their classes or with the Greenville College Alumni Association (GCAA). Alumni of all ages follow the Greenville College and Greenville College Alumni Association pages on Facebook. They also follow @GCAlumni on Twitter. And alumni come together through the network of regional alumni associations across the country, or they meet and reconnect through events hosted by Greenville College or other alums, and events back at the College like Homecoming.

GC's alumni communities provide a wide range of opportunities for socializing, networking and travel, and contribute significantly to the rich alumni experience that defines Greenville.

GC begins its 2015-16 academic year with a convocation ceremony on Wednesday, August 26. Author Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove will deliver a convocation address at 9:30 a.m. in Whitlock Music Center.

The Greenville College cheerleading program has announced that Lee Coakley of Greenville, Ill., offered the winning entry of "Hoguey" in the program's "Name the Panther" contest. Coakley graduated from Greenville College in 2000 and has been serving as an assistant track and field coach since 2013.
