Michelle Sutton Named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Michelle Sutton (Jackson, Mich./Jackson) adds another piece of hardware to her senior campaign as she was named NCCAA student-athlete of the week for the week of Sept. 20-26.

Sutton finished 8th out of 355 runners at Augustana College’s Bissman/Lundeen Invitational with her time of 22:19 on the 6k course. The time posted by Sutton was enough to set a new school record, shattering the old mark (22:45) by 26 seconds.

Sutton’s best time for the 6k prior to this race was 22:52.
