Joe Newlin Named SLIAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Senior Joe Newlin (St. Louis, Mo./McCluer), has been named the SLIAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance for the week of February 28-March 6.

Newlin recorded two victories last week, posting a 6-3, 6-3 victory at #1 Singles against Illinois College's Mike Evans, while partnering with teammate Ian Wolf to record an 8-0 win at #1 Doubles against Illinois College.

This is Newlin's first award of the season.

Greenville boasts a perfect dual match record of 2-0.
