Men’s Tennis Edged by Concordia in Spring Break Opening Play

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Greenville College men’s tennis squad commenced spring break 2011 with an on the court battle against Concordia University Wisconsin on Monday, March 14. GC looked good early, but a late singles play push by CUW gave the Falcon’s a close 5-4 decision over the Panthers.   

Greenville controlled doubles play, earning the advantage 2-1 over Concordia, but CUW's singles match record of 4-2 swayed the overall team score to the Falcons favor. CUW’s win hands GC their first loss of the season as they move to 3-1

Men’s tennis will next gear up tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15, as they take the court against Texas Lutheran at 7:00 am.
