Smith Named UMAC Defensive Player of the Week

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Senior safety John Smith (Aurora, IL) was named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Defensive Player of the Week.

During Greenville's 41-14 win over Presentation College, Smith pulled down two interceptions. In addition Smith tallied four tackles against the Saints.

This is Smith's first UMAC Player of the Week award.
