


GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team was a 65-50 winner over Principia Wednesday night. Greenville used the scoring efforts of two Lady Panthers, Emily Gundy and Laura Hobbie, with 14 points each.
Ieisha Adams followed with 10 points and was also Greenville's leader in assists with eight, rebounds with eight and steals with six.
Greenville led by a narrow margin of 29-21 at halftime before extending the lead in the second half. Prinicipia made a run near the end, but the Lady Panthers were still able to stay ahead by 15.
The women's basketball team improved to 6-11 (3-6 SLIAC). They will try to continue the winning streak as they host Eureka College this Saturday at 1 p.m.
