’12 SLIAC Baseball Awards Announced; Three Panthers Notch First Team Honors

HIGHLAND, Ill. -- The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced the 2012 All-Conference and special award winners.  Senior outfielder and pitcher David Massengill, junior third baseman Kenny Trager, and freshman outfielder and pitcher Tyler Pilcher all claimed First Team hardware.

Freshman first baseman Ryan Smith was Greenville's lone enty on the second team.

Sophomore second baseman Dylan Goldsmith, junior outfielder Cole Lawson, and freshman outfielder Wyatt Matteson rounded out Greenville's selections as honorable mention picks.

Obtaining recognition on the All-Sportsmanship team was junior catcher Adam Wallace.
