GREENVILLE, Ill. – The volleyball team used a well-rounded effort to top Lincoln Christian in three sets Tuesday night at home. The win was the Panthers' fifth in a row.
The Panthers posted a dominating first set win of 25-10 before Lincoln Christian battled in the second and third games, pushing Greenville to scores of 25-19 and 25-23, respectively.
Corinne Coon was Greenville’s top offensive performer in the contest, racking up 11 kills. Sierah Ruffner produced nine kills, and Nicole Schaeffer and Savannah Sells each posted eight kills.
Ellen Lueking tallied 39 assists on the evening, and Jamie Schollenbruch led the defensive efforts with 11 digs.
The Panthers (6-3) return to action Saturday at Iowa Wesleyan where they will compete against conference opponents Blackburn and Eureka.
