GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team erased a 19-point halftime deficit as they defeated Blackburn 90-83 Wednesday night. K.J. Hilliard posted a team-leading 29 points in the come-from-behind effort. Obinna Agomo, Rashod Seaton, and Jonas McBride added 13, 12, and 11 points, respectively.
Agomo was the team leader with three assists and tied Andy Traeger for the team-lead with eight rebounds. McBride's defensive efforts resulted in five of Greenville's 10 steals.
Greenville trailed 47-28 at the half and recovered to outscore Blackburn 62-36 in the second half.
The men's basketball team improved their record to 2-1 and won their season opening SLIAC contest. The Panthers return to action Friday night at home as they host Mid-Continent at 8 p.m. in Greenville's tournament.
