MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The men's cross country team ran to a sixth place showing at the Rhodes Invitational on Saturday. Nathan Young continued his strong season as he was the first of Greenville's finishers in 27th place.
Young's time of 27:40 topped teammate Ross Baker by 20 seconds as Baker was 35th.
Greenville's difference of less than one minute between it's first and fifth finisher was the best of any team.
"The guys ran well," said head coach Brian Patton. "We just need to be faster."
The Panthers continue their season on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Illinois College.
