GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The No. 16 men's track and field team will be represented by five entries in the NCAA outdoor championships from Thursday to Saturday at Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware, Ohio.
Greenville's list includes participants in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 110-meter hurdles, 400-meter relay, and hammer throw.
Topping Greenville's contingent is junior Bruce Gray who holds the nation's No. 1 position in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.04 seconds at the NCCAA outdoor championships on May 1.
Gray is also No. 2 in the 100-meter dash with a mark of 10.41 seconds at the Washington University Invite on March 28.
The 400 meter relay team of senior Josh Garcia, juniors Gray and Dmitri Holman, and freshman Jonah Peoples enters the race sixth with a 41.16 second showing at the Greenville College Select Meet on April 5.
Peoples is also the nation's 17th ranked participant in the 110-meter hurdles, gaining a time of 14.68 seconds at the Eastern Illinois Last Chance Twilight on May 9.
Senior Josh Kuusisto will cap his G.C. career in the hammer throw as his heave of 193-3 at the Louisville Twilight Classic on May 16 is the nation's 10th best.
