GREENVILLE, Ill. - Freshman Corinne Coon (Warsaw, Ind./Warsaw) has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for her performance for the week of October 25-31.
Coon, an outside hitter, helped her squad clinch the top seed in the SLIAC Tournament with their win over Webster University. She entered in the third set of the match and had seven kills and only one error on 10 total attempts for a .600 attack percentage, as Greenville defeated the Gorloks 25-19, 25-15, 28-26. Coon added 15 kills, two blocks, two digs and one service ace in three sets played versus Principia College. She also had a career-high 19 kills and tallied four service aces, four digs and five blocks in a five-set victory against Westminster College.
For Coon, this is her first conference award of the season.
