Season

Non traditonal season involves four weeks in September.
Regular season starts in late January and ends in early to mid-May.
Games:
Average of 20 double headers or 40 games per season including home/away games with the opportunity for post-season experience in either the NCCAA or NCAA.
Practices:
Practice sessions last 2 hours a day after daily classes.

Facilities

The Lady Panther Field is one of the finest softball fields in Southern Illinois. The field has a skinned infield, 200 foot fence enclosing the entire field with brick dugouts and ample practice space as well as a brand new press box.. An indoor and out door batting cage provide numerous opportunities for skill work. The Fitness Training Center houses over 6000 pounds of free weights and 23 weight machines as well as hot tubs, rehabilitation facilities, and a lap pool.

Education

Greenville Lady Panthers are students first and athletes second. Our goal is to excel in the classroom as well as on the field. The faculty understands and appreciates our dedication to athletics within the context of an educational community and works with us to give the student athlete the best of both worlds.

Scholarship

NCAA Division III institutions have non-scholarship athletic programs. There are academic and leadership scholarships, as well as other financial aid available to all students, including a work-study program.
