Women's Softball

Panther Softball - A strong tradition.

Over the years, Greenville College Softball has experienced much success, both on the field and most importantly in its mission to develop young women of excellence and integrity. Off the field, Panther alumni have gone on to be successful in graduate school (two currently excelling in medical school), service fields (two recent graduates in the nursing profession), education (many recent and previous graduates who are star teachers), as well as numerous other occupations including researchers, media specialists, etc...

In each of the last three decades, the Panthers have excelled, with integrity, on the field as well. In the 80's the Panthers enjoyed six consecutive 20+ win seasons and two National Tournament appearances in the AIAW. In the mid 90's GC Softball came back with three consecutive 20+ win seasons and a two trips to the NCCAA National Tournament. Finally, the 2010 Panthers are ready to make a run at SLIAC Conference title and are proud and grateful to have won the Sportsmanship Award two of the last four years.

Lady Panther Field, with its new scoreboard, new press box, new drainage system, new outfield fence, new tarp, revamped dugouts, and sound system, is one of the most fun places to play in the conference. If you are looking for a quality education and a competitive, fun collegiate softball experience, come visit our campus and meet Coach Reinhard and the staff (Coach Ritter and Coach Estevez).
