Women's Tennis Post-Season Awards; Baysinger Named Women's Tennis Newcomer of the Year
The Women's Tennis Post-Season Awards were announced and GC's own Lexi Baysinger was honored with the coveted Newcomer of the Year award. The duo of Baysinger and Lynch were named Baysinger also was recognized as a member of the All-Sportsmanship Team and Greenville won the Team Sportsmanship Award.
Women's Tennis Takes Third in SLIAC Tournament
The Lady Panther tennis team finished the SLIAC Tournament in third place this weekend. They defeated Blackburn 9-0 in the first match of the tournament and then went on to play Webster in the second round. They lost that match 6-3, but went on to play in the third place match against Eureka. The Panthers beat the Red Devils 5-1 to take third place overall.
Lady Panthers Improve Record Overtaking Stephens 6-3
The GC Women’s Tennis team brought home a 6-3 victory on Saturday when they took on Stephens College on the road at Principia. The team clinched three singles and two doubles matches after Stephens was forced to default two matches with only five of their players healthy.Archive
