Campaign Who's Who

Greenville College CampaignGreenville College Campaign

Comprehensive Campaign Overview

GC Students

“Transforming Lives, Shaping the Future,” the theme of this comprehensive campaign, our first in more than a decade, speaks to the very heart of our mission:

GREENVILLE COLLEGE TRANSFORMS STUDENTS FOR LIVES OF CHARACTER AND SERVICE THROUGH A CHRIST-CENTERED EDUCATION IN THE LIBERATING ARTS AND SCIENCES.

Transformation

Transformation involves retaining that which is essential while simultaneously effecting dramatic change. The apostle Paul directs our attention to the importance of such a process in Romans 12:2: “Do not be conformed any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Greenville College is already undergoing rapid change. We are celebrating significant progress in the areas of financial accountability, enrollment, curriculum, technology and facilities. We are enjoying record enrollment, record giving, a higher caliber of applicant, remarkable success with grant acquisition, additional off-campus and advanced degree programs, campus-wide integration of the latest learning technologies and new human development tools. We are implementing decisions that reflect our thoughtful and aggressive management of current and future resources.

Throughout this transformation, the essential character of Greenville College as a community of Christian scholars remains intact. We are committed to preserving and strengthening the core values that have distinguished Greenville College for more than a century as we simultaneously renew our campus, curriculum and community for future generations.

The Cost of Transformation

Myriad transformational events have already occurred at Greenville College – from the establishment of the New Millennium Commission and the formation of a visionary leadership team to tangible elements as pragmatic as fire escapes and a new mailroom. The “Transforming Lives, Shaping the Future” campaign aims to sustain the momentum and complete the renewal of our campus, curriculum and community.
