Campus Master Plan
Renovations
Dorm Renovations - The Deferred Maintenance
Study of 1998 has detailed information regarding the work that needs
to be done in the dorms. The renovations would include: mechanical,
electrical, heating/cooling, and cosmetic renovations. These renovations
will cost millions of dollars.
Drama
- Drama is housed in the Kelsey building. It has been determined
that it is best to keep them in their current facility. However,
major renovations need to take place to address Fire Code, and ADA
issues. Recently, a new fire escape was installed for the bulding, but additional cost estimates are not available at this time. Further planning needs
to take place to determine the configuration of the theater.

Hogue Hall - One of the original campus buildings is in need
of serious renovations. Some modifications may be made to convert
smaller classrooms to office space. An elevator will need to be
added to the facility probably on the north side of the building.
In addition to the general renovations, ADA issues need to be addressed.
Other Renovations - The 1998 Deferred
Maintenance Study determined more than $6,000,000 of work which
needs to be done on campus. The architect determined that this estimate
is very conservative and would depend upon the extent of the renovations
in each facility. For further information regarding this report
see the study.

Burritt Gymnasium - Built in 1915 as our first gymnasium,
it is the only classroom for the Physical Education Department.
The Campus Master Plan calls for subdividing the main gymnasium,
adding locker rooms, and renovating the remainder of the facility.
