Strategies
The strategies are the 'how' of the initiatives. They describe
how we are going to accomplish the initiatives. We have limited
the strategies to 3 or 4 for each initiative so that we can more
easily focus on the important things without getting overwhelmed.
The action Plans are the 'what' of the strategies. The are the
specific, measurable actions that will be taken overt the next 3
to 5 years to accomplish the strategies. These action plans will
be reviewed annually to identify accomplishments and new action
plans. For this reason there tends to be more of a 1 to 2 year focus
on action plans in many of the strategies.
