WELCOME TO THE APRIL 2002 ISSUE OF PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS @ GREENVILLE.EDU

Dear Prospective Students,

Greetings from Greenville College! Spring Break has come and gone, and before we know
it, the semester will have ended. In the remaining weeks of the year, our students will host
the Agape Music Festival, providing two days of contemporary Christian music on two stages,
speakers, a late-night coffeehouse, special fan tents, camping, games, and food. It is being held
next weekend, May 3-4, at the Bond County Fairgrounds in Greenville. Contact your Admissions
Counselor to find out how you can get a FREE TICKET!

Students interested in coming this fall will be excited to find out that we've begun putting
together FINANCIAL AID PACKAGES for students who have been accepted. If you haven't
yet received your financial aid award letter, contact your Admissions Counselor to find out
what additional information we need from you.

Enjoy the rest of this issue...and thank you for your continued interest in Greenville College.

GC NEWS: GC RECEIVES LARGEST GIFT EVER OF $2 MILLION
http://www.greenville.edu/publications/news/donation302nr.shtml

Soon after Dr. Karen Longman came to Greenville College as Vice President for Academic
Affairs in 1999, she and a small circle of friends began praying a simple but audacious prayer:
that God would send a $1 million gift to the college from "out of the blue." That prayer was
answered, and then some, March 14 when GC President James Mannoia received a check
in the mail for $2 million.
