WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER 2002 ISSUE OF PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS @ GREENVILLE.EDU
Dear Prospective Students:
Greetings from Greenville College!
It's hard to believe that it's already November. Before long, Thanksgiving
break will be upon us. I
hope the first semester of your year has been rewarding. Many exciting
things have happened
within the last month. The biggest news of all is that the college
signed a purchase agreement for
the Free Methodist Church, the future home of the music center.
The story even appeared in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch! The college
also received a Centennial Award from the state of Illinois
for more than 100 continual years of operation.
Those of you who are seniors in high school should definitely check
out the Scholarship
Competitions and Preview Days that are coming up throughout the
year. While the next
Scholarship Competition isn't until December, the first Preview
Days will be this Sunday and
Monday, November 10 and 11. This gives you a fantastic chance to
visit the campus and
interact with our students and faculty. Further information on these
opportunities is included in
the newsletter.
Enjoy the rest of this issue...and thank you for your continued
interest in Greenville College.
