Sabbatical Leave. Studied directing techniques during the rehearsals
of five productions at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. Rehearsal
assistant for the world premier of ESMERALDA. February to April

Peace Corps Volunteer. Honduras. Adult literacy program promoter
and supervisor with Honduran Ministry of Education, sewing instructor
with World Vision, organizer of Mujeres Alegres, a small business
enterprise, staff member of children's social rehabilitation program
with Lion's Club International. June 1985 to December 1986.
Sabbatical Leave. Worked in lighting and scene painting for two
productions with Theatre Project Company, a professional theatre
in St. Louis. Completed post-graduate courses in set design and
scene painting at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
