GC Community Garage and Bake Sale for Tsunami Relief-Saturday, March 19th

Dear GC Friends:

A group of my students is working hard to organize a Tsunami Relief Community Garage Sale on Saturday, March 19th 8:00-12:00 noon in Snyder 103/104. We need your support. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the GC Spring Break Tsunami Relief trip. Would you be willing to donate ITEMS and/or BAKED GOODS to this effort? We need clothes, shoes, books, bikes and anything else in your basement, garage or storage unit (or under your bed), you are willing to donate. Boxes will begin to appear in the dorms. Otherwise, faculty and staff, because we have no storage space, we are willing to come to your house on Friday afternoon, March 18th to receive your donations, OR you could bring them yourself to Snyder Hall rooms 103/104 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. – on FRIDAY, March 18th.

Would you also donate baked goods for the bake sale? We can collect these on Friday afternoon, or you could bring them by Snyder Hall either Friday after 4:00 pm or Saturday between 8:00 and 9:00 am. If you can deliver garage sale items or baked goods on Friday afternoon, no need to contact me. But if you would like a group of guys with a pickup truck to come by your house to pick up items, please email me with your address and preferred pick-up time (between 4:00 and 8:00 pm on Friday, March 18th). Please put baked items in disposable containers. Any garage sale items remaining at 12:00 on Saturday can be reclaimed. Otherwise, they will be donated to the Thrift store. Please contact me with any questions, or if you have items for pick up on Friday.
