Salvationist Scholarship
Program
For students attending a Salvation Army Corps (www.salvationarmy.org)
and meeting the following criteria, Greenville College awards a
$5,000 annual scholarship. For continuation of the scholarship,
students must be in good academic and social standing at the end
of each year.
In addition to the scholarship, most Salvationist students qualify
for other monies available through federal
and state programs and
campus employment. The
Office of Student Financial
Services will work through the various forms of financial aid
to ensure that Salvationist students receive all the aid to which
they are entitled.
Criteria:
- Regularly attend a Salvation Army Corps
- Agree with GC lifestyle expectations and evangelical Christian
world view
- Achieve a minimum ACT of 20 or SAT of 950
- Graduate in top 40% of high school class
- Acheive a minimum 2.5 grade point average on a 4-point scale
