TRANSFER POLICIES

Transfers with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from an accredited institution must complete:
- AA/AS degree meets COR 101, 102, and Lower Division General Education Requirements.
- Foreign Language currently met by AA/AS degree. Continue current practice until issue is addressed at later time.
- COR 201 Foundations of Science (3 cr). May be met with an interdisciplinary history and philosophy of science course.
- COR 301 Course for transfers designed to combine elements of COR 101 and 102. Served by REL 301 until specific course is developed in Fall of 2001. (3 cr)
- COR 401 Capstone SeminarIntegration Across the Disciplines (2 cr)
- Earn 66 credits beyond the Associate degree
- Earn 32 credits of upper division credit (number to be determined)
- An Upper Division Writing Intensive Course (may be met by transfer)
- A Cross-Cultural Course/Experience (may be met by transfer)
- 2.00 Cumulative gpa
- Completion of major requirements
Transfers with less than 64 credits (Freshman & Sophomore standing):
- COR 101 Cornerstone SeminarFoundations in the Liberal Arts Tradition (3 cr)
- May waive with two sequential writing courses. The first course will meet the ENG 101 requirement of Required Courses.
- COR 102 Introduction to Christian Thought and Life (3 cr). May be met with an approved introductory Christian Theology course.
- COR 201 Foundations of Science (3 cr). May be met with an interdisciplinary history and philosophy of science course.
- COR 401 Capstone SeminarIntegration Across the Disciplines (2 cr)
- Must meet Lower Division General Education Requirements, Experiences, and Other requirements as listed in General Education Requirements.
Transfers Junior standing (64 cr) and above:
- COR 101 and 102 waived
- COR 201 Foundations of Science (3 cr). May be met with an interdisciplinary history and philosophy of science course.
- COR 301 Course for transfers designed to combine elements of COR 101 and 102. Served by REL 301 until specific course is developed in Fall of 2001. (3 cr)
