Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why should I support the Fund for Educational
Excellence?
A: A gift to the Fund
for Educational Excellence allows Greenville College to provide
students with an excellent Christian liberal arts education. Greenville
College strives to provide character education by challenging students
to confront the moral and social challenges that face our world
today. We believe this produces graduates who will become a new
generation of moral leaders scattered among various occupations.
Q: What does the Fund for Educational Excellence
accomplish?
A: The Fund for Educational Excellence (Annual Fund) helps the college
meet annual ongoing operating expenses. While the enrollment at
Greenville College continues to increase, the college faces complex
financial challenges.
The actual cost of a Greenville education is approximately $2000
more than student tuition. It is the Fund for Educational Excellence
that bridges this gap. In addition, the Fund ensures a strong financial
future for the college built upon a foundation of consistent support
from alumni and friends. A strong foundation of support by alumni
and friends also assists in efforts to attract major gifts and grants
from individuals and foundations.
