Significant work experience in the music industry is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be able to network well with individuals working throughout the music industry and particularly in Nashville. Candidates must be dedicated to undergraduate teaching and committed to serving as role models for students within a Christian academic community. A vibrant personal Christian faith commitment is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Full-time faculty load is 11-13 credit hours per semester, advise students, and serve on campus committees. Primary teaching responsibilities include Music Business Survey, International Record Companies, International Music Publishing, Album Marketing and Promotion, Artist and Tour Management and Album Production. COMPENSATION: Salary is based on academic preparation and years of relevant experience. These are two of the largest on campus and collectively serve more than 200 students in six majors. The Music Business major was started in 2005-06 and has grown beyond our expectations.
