Mission

The Media Resource Center strives to assist faculty in the task of enhancing instruction in and out of the classroom, with the use of technology, and to excellently provide service to fill the media technology needs of the Greenville College community.

Facilities

The Media Resource Center provides the Greenville College community with excellent in-house media facilities. These facilities are available to all members of the campus community for instructional and co-curricular use. They can also be used by outside groups for various functions on an as available basis.

MRC Service Policies and Procedures

  • Media Resource Center service priorities:
    1. The Media Resource Center (MRC) supports classroom instructional technology needs as a first priority.
    2. Secondly, the MRC assists with technology needs of college administrative departments and co-curricular organizations and activities.
    3. Thirdly, the MRC offers some services to individuals and community groups as time and resources permit.

  • All materials used are charged to the customer at a reasonable rate to cover costs and overhead.

  • Labor for major projects for instructional or administrative purposes are charged to the department or individual requesting service.

  • Private or non-college individuals pay for materials and labor for all requests.
