The Next Steps:
- During January and February 2003, recruiting will be completed
for the steering committee.
- Throughout the campaign, the steering committee and Advancement
Office will work with President Mannoia to develop and cultivate
prospects for leadership gifts ($50,000+).
- July to September 2003 will bring electronic screening of the
alumni database for leadership and major gift prospects.
- The steering committee will schedule and organize regional
gatherings across the country for information and cultivation
throughout 2003.
- The Foundation Approach Strategy will work throughout the campaign
in identifying foundations that fund capital campaigns and present
opportunities for Greenville College and then submit proposals
according to a timeline.
- During July and August 2003, printed campaign materials, including
brochures, will be completed.
The public campaign will kick off in the
Spring of 2004.
Campus
blueprints reveal plans for a new,
1300-seat auditorium, one of the
needed capital improvements dependent on the success of the
comprehensive campaign. The auditorium will provide the only
facility able to hold the entire campus community, now that
the college has outgrown the current Free Methodist Church sanctuary. |
