Greenville College Hosts "Bicentennial Bus"

Lewis and Clark Exhibit Open Friday, December 2

GREENVILLE, ILL. This Friday Greenville College will host the “Bicentennial Bus,” a traveling museum exhibit that interprets the Lewis and Clark Expedition. A result of the joint efforts of historians from Lewis and Clark Community College, the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency and the Missouri Historical Society, the bus celebrates the recent (2004) bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Discovery Expedition.

The bus will be parked in the parking lot adjoining Ganton Circle, in front of the college's dining commons, and will be open from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. It is free and open to the public to view. Please contact Teresa Holden at 664-6807. A preview of the exhibit can be seen at www.lewisandclarkillinois.org/mobile.htm.

Greenville College is a four-year accredited Christian liberal arts school with more than 1300 traditional undergraduate, graduate, and adult degree completion students.  Founded in 1892 and affiliated with the Free Methodist Church, the college is located in Greenville, Illinois, 45 miles east of St. Louis.
