Greenville College Artist Series to Welcome Word Records' Erin O'Donnell
Friday, November 30
Friday, November 30, the Greenville College Artist Series is hosting
Erin O'Donnell, a nationally known Christian pop vocalist on Word
Records, for a concert at Ladue Auditorium, on the Greenville College
campus, at 7:00 p.m. The concert is open to everyone and is FREE
OF CHARGE.
Erin landed two #1 singles and four "Top Ten" hits from
A Scrapbook of Sorts on the charts.
For her latest release, No Place So Far,
Erin turned to producer Glenn Rosenstein, whose client list includes
Caedmon's Call, U2, Talking Heads and Ziggy Marley. Rosenstein provided
a diverse palette for Erin's amazing voice, from the shimmering
"Janie's Garden" to the driving, acoustic-laced pop of
"Only You," "There You Are" and the title track
"No Place So Far," to more reflective fare such as "Hold
On to Jesus" and "No Fear In Love." Erin's acoustic-driven
music and modern pop vocals puts her in the same league as other
great artists such as Sarah Mclachlan, Dido and Amy Grant.
Greenville College Artist Series is a non-profit organization that
offers community concerts twice a year. For additional information,
please contact Andrea Chaussee at (618) 664-6582 or achaussee@greenville.edu
