Dr. Tracy Hall Named “Outstanding Young Alumnus” by Greenville College

Dr. Tracy Hall of Greenville recently received recognition from Greenville College as its Outstanding Young Alumnus for the year 2000. A 1985 graduate of Greenville, Dr. Hall is a partner with McCracken Dawdy Hall Family Practice Center in Greenville.

The Greenville College Alumni Association bestows the award annually to an outstanding alumnus who is 40 years old or younger, or who has graduated from Greenville within the past 15 years.

GC President James Mannoia made the presentation during Homecoming and Parents Weekend Oct. 13. Dr. Hall’s brother, Norm Hall, who serves as GC’s Dean of Student Development and Leadership, also participated in the presentation ceremony.

Dr. Hall received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 1989 from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. In addition to her family practice at McCracken Dawdy Hall, she is currently Chief of Rehabilitation Services at Utlaut Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

Her numerous professional affiliations include membership in the American Medical Association, the Bond County Medical Society, and the Illinois State Medical Society. Since 1997 Dr. Hall has served as Bond County delegate to the Illinois State Medical Society. She is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Alumni Director Kent Krober says Dr. Hall represents all the best of what it means to be a Greenville College graduate. “Tracy goes beyond her excellent training as a physician to focus upon the spirit of her patients.A kind and encouraging word is often given along with the prescription for physical healing. This care and concern for the whole person reflects the spirit of Greenville College.”

Greenville College is a four-year accredited Christian liberal arts school with more than 1,200 traditional undergraduate, graduate, and adult degree completion students. Founded in 1892 and affiliated with the Free Methodist Church, the college is located in Greenville, Illinois, 45 miles east of St. Louis.
