Winke Estate Bequests over $50,000 to Greenville College's Annual
Fund
GREENVILLE, Ill. - Greenville College recently received over $50,000
in unrestricted funds as an estate gift from the Winke Family Loving
Trust. The donation continues a tradition of support for Greenville
College by the family for more than twenty years.
The gift will go toward Greenville College's comprehensive campaign,
"Transforming Lives, Shaping the Future." Half of the
bequest will go toward the Fund for Educational Excellence. The
remainder will support church-related music programs. Mrs. Hope
Winke graduated from the college in 1940 and was an alumna of the
choir.
"Greenville College is fortunate to have the support of donors
like the Winke family," said David Hoag, Vice President for
College Advancement. "We thank God for his continued blessings."
Greenville College is a four-year accredited Christian liberal
arts school with more than 1,200 traditional undergraduate, graduate,
and adult degree completion students. Founded in 1892 and affiliated
with the Free Methodist Church, the college is located in Greenville,
Ill., 45 miles east of St. Louis.
