Informal Reunion in Greenville
Five couples who were young married friends during their GC days met in Greenville April 4-7 to visit campus and surrounding attractions, and to renew long-time friendships. The group included Ralph and Lorraine Hoppers, missionaries to Vietnam; Jim ’56 and Gloria Orner, retired missionaries to East Africa; Bob ’55 and Marsha ’54 Pitts, retired professor and staff at Taylor University; Gerald and Marlene Bates ’55, former missionaries to Central Africa and bishop of the Free Methodist Church; and Don ’56 and Joan Reeser, former missionaries to Germany. The Reesers hosted the group in their home in Greenville.

Among the sights they took in were the new college bookstore, the Bock Museum, Ganton Circle, and other attractive campus improvements.
