Barber Coaches NCCAA All-Star Basketball Team in Czech Republic
Greenville
College head mens basketball
coach George Barber was honored this spring with the assignment
of coaching the NCCAA Mission Europe All-Star Basketball Team. The
squad toured the Czech Republic May 25 to June 3. In addition to
playing basketball, the team had the opportunity to witness to the
people of the Czech Republic and share their faith.
Christian Outreach International (COI) sponsored the trip in appreciation
for the NCCAAs help in sending players overseas to represent

the gospel. Barbers team visited orphanages, schools, and
a variety of other places to spread the gospel.
In March, Barber completed his second season at Greenville. Over
two years, he has coached the Panthers to a 32-24 overall record,

the past two seasons.
Prior to coming to Greenville, Barber spent three years as an assistant
coach at Bradley University where they made three NIT appearances.
In 1996, the native of North Carolina was an administrative assistant
