Areas of Responsibility:
Brenda coordinates partnerships between Greenville College and urban
neighborhood churches in St. Louis, and East St. Louis with the
goal being to further the education and spiritual development of
inner city youth. She develops and oversees a variety of campus
visits and serves as a liaison from the college to mobilize campus
resources (e.g., speakers, students, facilities) to serve the needs
of church-base educational programs.
Background:
Brenda served with her husband for eight years in church related
work in East Africa before completing her undergraduate degree from
the University of Missouri. She later taught in St. Louis City Public
Schools and was trained to utilize ART (Anger Regression Training)
with youth and adults. Prior to her present position with Greenville
College she directed an urban support center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Brenda and her husband have six children.
