Rieder has worked in higher education since 1986, for 11 of those
years as CFO at smaller Christian colleges in Pennsylvania, Tennessee,
and Michigan. He has provided leadership to a wide range of responsibilities,
including business office, human resources, information systems,
mailing and printing services, physical plant, security, food services,
bookstore, risk management, investments, and financial aid. Rieder
came to Greenville from Indiana Wesleyan University where he was
Director of Personnel and Auxiliary Services for two years. Since
1998 he has also served in a part-time role as Executive Director
of the Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges.
