Ayer's Field Station

0

Dr. John Ayers pursued his dream of a Greenville College Science Center in Colorado. Today, the legacy continues here at the John & Martha Ayers Science Field Station. John and Marty had a strong commitment to provide space, facilities, and funding for science students to have opportunities for environmental field experiences. John and Marty dreamed of a center where intensive, personalized learning could occur in a Christian context. The White Environmental Education Center serves as a focal point in the development of the 140-acre Ayers Science Field Station, alongside the Winslow Observatory, which was previously dedicated in the spring of 2001. Both facilities were designed and constructed by Greenville College science faculty and volunteers.
