Job Description

Full time position. Seeking an applicant to provide in-home case management/counseling services to youth ages 11-17 and their families within a multi-county area. Provide individual/family counseling to improve relational skills such as communication, conflict resolution and decision making. Respond to police stations within the service area to provide crisis intervention. Complete assessments, case notes and service plans as required by the program plan. Position also requires to be able to complete monthly community contacts to promote the program, and participate in monthly inter-agency meetings. Service include crisis intervention. Crisis intervention includes possible periods of after hours on call coverage to respond to youth and families in need. Qualifications: Education-Bachelor's degree or higher in human service related field. Experience Preferred: 3 years of related experience preferred. Other: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance. Required Skills: Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and adaptive skills to expand software application skills as necessary. Ability to handle stress well and effectively de-escalate crises. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to handle decisions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy. Demonstrated ability to utilize analytical thinking and handle decisions. Required to use computer and keyboard. Exercise discretion and ensure confidentiality. Required: Auto Insurance, CPR Certification, Drivers License and Physical Exam/TB.
