COLLEGE PHOTO I.D. CARDS
Many of the services
described below require a College I.D. photo card. This card may be
obtained at the Information Technology HelpDesk located in Lower Hogue
Hall.
ADMISSION TO COLLEGE EVENTS
All
employees, retirees, and their spouses are admitted free of charge to
most sporting and musical events, the Fitness Training Center , and
other campus activities unless advertised otherwise. Children of
employees are also admitted free if accompanied by their parent(s) or
another employee.
FOOD SERVICE
The
College subsidizes the cost of the noon meal in the dining commons
Monday through Friday for all employees. At any time, purchases in the
Dining Commons and the College Union Snack Bar may be paid with cash or
by payroll deduction with the use of College I.D. photo cards.
Purchases at Jo's Java (coffee shop) can be made with cash.
LIBRARY
Employees
are welcome to use the materials in the Ruby E. Dare Library. Materials
may be checked out upon presentation of a valid College I.D. card.
LOST AND FOUND
A
lost and found department is located in the Student Development office
in lower Armington Center . Inquiries concerning lost and found
articles should be directed to the Administrative Assistant for Student
Development. A lost and found is also located in the Library at the
Circulation Desk. Unclaimed articles are retained only until the end of
the semester.
NOTARY PUBLIC
Notary public services are available in the President 's Office.
PARKING
The
College provides general parking areas on or close to campus. These
parking areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In
order to use these parking areas, vehicles must have the proper permit
displayed. This permit must be obtained from the Student Development
Office. Vehicles parked in restricted or designated areas or without a
parking permit will receive parking violations that must be paid in the
Business Office. Continuous violators may be towed. Fines not paid
within 30 days will be deducted from the employee's payroll check.
