Personal Hobbies and Interests
As a student at Greenville College John spent four years as an editor for the Greenville College Papyrus, Greenville College's student newspaper, including Editor in Chief his Senior Year. He also was the president and co-founder of T.N.L ministries.

John was also active as an actor, writer, director, and producer of more than twelve Factory Theatre Productions as a student. Ranked nationally in the late 90's in the slam poetry circuits, John is a published author and is an associate pastor at St. Paul's Free Methodist Church in Greenville, IL. John is also the Co-captain of the Greenville College alumni ultimate Frisbee team.

John spends as much time as he can supporting his wife, Mary, as she continues in her graduate education as a Social Worker, and building tents out of blankets and clothes pins with his daughters, Sophia and Samantha.
